All of our MBA programs below are designed for students with current or previous work experience. Lake Erie College MBA students may choose to complete the program by selecting from the following options:

Professional MBA

Professional MBA classes are held on weekday evenings. Students typically complete the program in 2-3 years by taking courses in the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.

Accelerated MBA

The Accelerated MBA is for individuals with significant professional work experience and strong academic records. Students admitted can earn the MBA degree in a period of eleven months by taking as many as four classes per semester.

Online MBA

100% online, allowing greater flexibility of scheduling for current and prospective students.

Optional Concentrations

The Lake Erie College MBA is designed for general managers. The program enables graduates to expand their horizons and assume progressively more managerial duties and responsibilities. However, if desired, students may also choose to obtain a concentration in one of our three offered concentrations.

Healthcare Administration

The concentration in Health Care Administration prepares Parker MBA students for staff, managerial, and leadership roles in the Health Care industry. The health care administration concentration covers topics including the U.S. health care delivery system; an overview of health informatics; legal and ethical issues; and the effective management of health care organizations.  The concentration deals with the application of business concepts to the Health Care industry in a broad context, covering not only provider organizations such as hospitals, but other industry participants such as pharmaceutical and medical technology enterprises.  

Information Technology Management

The MBA concentration in Information Technology Management is designed to meet the emerging market demand for IT management professionals.  Information is a key asset to any organization.  The concentration seeks to develop IT management professionals who will lead an organization’s strategies to most effectively define, store, manage, protect, share, and distribute information to relevant stakeholders as well as exploiting the power of information technology to create a competitive advantage.

Health Informatics

 The Health Informatics concentration is designed to meet the emerging market demand for health care management professionals with a specialization in informatics. The health care industry is experiencing a massive change in the way it delivers and manages a patient’s health care due to technology and federal mandatory regulations. This concentration seeks to develop health care management professionals who will lead an organization’s strategies to most effectively integrate health informatics as part of daily operations as well as exploiting the power of health care technology to create a competitive advantage and deliver safe and quality patient care.   

Payment and Financial Aid Information

Our Lakeland and Lorain locations, as well as the online option conveniently allows you to begin your MBA at the beginning of any semester:  August (fall), January (spring) or May (summer).

Other Options are Available to You

Lake Erie College also offers an MBA option for recent graduates with little to no work experience, as well as an option to allow LEC undergraduates to obtain their MBA with only one additional year of graduate course-work.

On-Campus Traditional MBA

The Lake Erie College On-Campus Traditional MBA program is especially tailored for students without current or previous professional work experience. Classes are held during the day on weekdays on the main Lake Erie College campus in Painesville, Ohio

4+1 MBA Program

Lake Erie College undergraduate students who meet eligibility requirements can enroll in MBA courses which will concurrently count as electives towards their bachelor's degree and fulfill requirements for the MBA program. This program allows students to matriculate in five (5) years with electives towards their bachelor's degree and fulfill requirements for the MBA program. This program allows students to matriculate in five (5) years with both an undergraduate and graduate degree.
