Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are an excellent way of gaining qualifications and experience while you work. As an employee, you can earn as you learn and gain practical skills in the workplace.

Apprentices do real jobs for real employers, so you are paid while you learn. If you are entering work for the first time, you will start earning from day one of your Apprenticeship.

Apprenticeships are available to anyone over the age of 16, and they are qualifications that are delivered whilst working within the industry. Apprentices normally attend college one day a week to gain theoretical knowledge and work on their portfolios. The rest of the week is spent in the workplace, developing practical skills.
