Horticulture is one of the few professions to blend science, art, practical craft skills and a love of nature. It enhances the well-being of our society by producing nutritious food and beautiful landscapes for people to enjoy.
Our Horticulture department has the benefit of being able to provide study across our two campuses. Our Lewes campus, Plumpton College and our new Horticulture Centre of Excellence at the Stanmer campus. Our Stanmer campus is also home to One Garden Brighton, our new partnership with Brighton and Hove City Council. The victorian walled garden is currently undergoing huge redevelopment to create twelve gardens within the space, each with its own individual theme.
