Plumpton College has extensive facilities within its own large estate located in the South Downs National Park. You can look forward to a healthy balance of practical and theoretical teaching during your sessions on all of the courses we offer.
Our facilities include an aquaculture production business (fish farm), coarse fishery and chalk stream. You will also have use of our one acre lake on-site, which is stocked with coarse fish. The lake is a practical facility that students will be able to use freely throughout their course.
You will also benefit from trips and excursions where you will learn surveying and capture techniques, including seine netting and electrofishing.
